Breastfeeding moms need support from other moms who have made similar choices.  Mom2Mom is a breastfeeding support group that helps nursing mothers connect locally.  These are fun and informative meetings that are open to all pregnant and breastfeeding moms, as well as anyone who wants to support breastfeeding in your community.  Babies and children are welcome.

Mom2Mom is offered in Rapides, Avoyelles, and Natchitoches/Sabine parish:

Rapides Parish:  Second Wednesday of every month from 10:00 – 11:30 am at the Rapides Parish Westside Regional Library and an evening group will meet every quarter (January, April, July and October) on the fourth Thursday of that month from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at Rapides Women and Children’s Hospital.  

Avoyelles Parish:  Third Wednesday of every month from 11:00 – noon at the Marksville Branch of the Avoyelles Parish Library in the Louisiana Room.

Natchitoches/Sabine Parish:  Fourth Monday of every month from 10:00 am – noon at The River Church in Many.  Also, evening groups will be held quarterly from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at the Natchitoches Women’s Resource Center.
